サブドメイン化に見るYAHOO!の特性
隊員サイトのサブドメイン化から5ヶ月。
いつになったらYAHOO!の検索結果が安定するのかという疑問を未だ抱きつつ報告です。
4ヶ月前は旧URLが表示されていたYAHOO!の検索結果も徐々に新URLに移行しています。
現状の隊員名での検索結果は以下の通り。
「アドレッド」1位（トップページ） adred.adranger.net
「アドブルー」12位（トップページ） adblue.adranger.net
「アドイエロー」1位（簡易HTML製造機） www.adranger.net/adyellow/html.html
「アドグリーン」4位（グリーンの写真日記） www.adranger.net/adgreen/blog
「アドピンク」1位（ピンクのネタ帖） adpink.adranger.net/blog
併記してあるURLが現在検索結果に表示されるものです。
イエローとグリーンは相変わらず旧URLが表示されています。
これに関しては理由が特定できません。
トップページにテキスト量の少ないイエロー、グリーン、ピンクの検索結果がトップよりも下位ディレクトリに存在するページを上位に表示しているのは、YAHOO!のテキスト重視の姿勢を物語っているような気がします。
あと「アドレンジャー」で検索した場合、YAHOO!では1位にアドレンジャーのトップページが、2位には同サイトマップが表示されます。
GoogleとMSNでは合わせて隊員サイトも表示されますが、YAHOO!では一切表示されません。
同じドメイン内からは2ページの表示が原則とされていることから、サブドメイン化されていても、実際には下位ディレクトリに存在する隊員サイトをYAHOO!は無視しているようです。
いちおう今回の実験の総括。
同一サイト内のディレクトリを見た目上サブドメイン化し、それぞれのページに共通する特定のキーワードで3ページ以上の検索結果を表示させたい場合、GoogleとMSNでは有効であるが、YAHOO!では無効である。
といったところでしょうか。
根源的なアクセス数の増減にはさほど影響しないような気がしています。
