百度と青少年の有意義な関係

百度の日本語版がいよいよ公開された。
ざっと見た感じアルゴリズムは、YAHOO!よりGoogleに近い気がする。
注目すべきは「ウェブ」と「画像」のみの構成。
百度と言えばMP3の印象が強いが、
「ウチは画像検索もけっこうイケてるよ」
というRobin Liの声が聞こえてきそうな気がした。

参考までに「素人」での検索結果
Googleの場合
YAHOO!の場合
百度の場合

このあたりで上手に2大検索エンジンとの差別化ができればいいのかもしれない。
かつて米国松下電器で働いていた時代に大きな影響を受けたというRobin Liの「日本の皆様に恩返しという形で少しでも役に立てるようなサービスを提供したいという強い意思」で日本進出を決めたらしいが、確かに日本の青少年にとっては役立つサービスだと思う。
とりあえずまだ広告がない分、ページ変遷が恐ろしく快適なので、しばらくまめに使ってみようと思っています。
